You have to hand it to Mr Foran, that's some servicing deal he's pulled off

After losing to the Glasgow bigots yesterday I thought this little fact, a Motherwell fan told me, may make fellow Staggies smile :-)
First day of the 2013-14 season, Motherwell beat Hibs 1-0, who went on to be relegated. First day of the 2014-15 season, Motherwell beat St Mirren 1-0,and we all know how that turned out.
Caley would be as well as conceding relegation now based on those stats imo.

Not looking good for ICT. Tiny squad (can't even fill the bench), players playing out of position and a real lack of quality.
Shuffling about the whole back four (Meekings RB, Raven LB) instead of just signing a new LB seems strange to me and now Warren is out with a broken leg, which leaves them even shorter in defence.
Not replacing Shinnie, Watkins and Ofere at all will prove costly. They've only got Lopez up front and the jury is very much out on him.
I don't think ICT have any chance of finishing third again. Very poor transfer business this summer.

So do you think Swansea or Fulham will pay £1m+ for ryan crustie??
This is the last year of his contract so I'd laugh my ass off if he just walked away to division1 or the championship for nought next summer.

Could they do a Motherwell?
Motherwell finished 2nd, then 11th the previous season.
ICT will be lucky to keep hold of Christie this window with Premier League clubs interested. It wouldn't surprise me if Rangers were too, if they're still looking for a young creative midfielder.

With Doran apparently out til the end of the season, I can't imagine they can afford to lose Christie as well? Also, apparently Dundee utd are looking at bringing Billy McKay back to Scotland.....

Testament to what a fantastic job John Hughes is doing there. Have to say I've never been a fan of his teams, but they certainly own us and they must be making a healthy profit.
That said, next manager betting is for mugs, and really is based on nothing but guesswork. If I put £100 on Jim McIntyre for Motherwell, they'd probably suspend betting on him too.

So United went for Big Mixu!
Congratulations to our neighbours for doing what they could to keep hold of their manager. I can only imagine that a new four year deal will be on the table for him to sign like St, J's did with Tommy Wright ;-)
Or was it Yogi was keen to go and so were ict to let him but United opted for Mixu...

I thought ICT were very ordinary last night, there's a lot of average players in there. Tremarco, Devine, Vincent, Polworth, even Vigurs all looked more like Championship players than SPL players. Any quality came from Christie, I didn't see much else about the rest at all. They haven't replaced Shinnie, who was their best player, and their squad is ridiculously small. ICT really haven't got much going forward at all and will probably lose their best two forward players in January.
Christie is apparently set to go back to Celtic in January and Storey's loan is only until January. If ICT lose Storey and Christie in January, I really think ICT will be in a relegation battle.
