Euro 2012 - Who will win ?
#1
I did a prediction chart and my final will be a Dutch/German V Spain affair according to my calculations.

Spain will/should win it.

Mind Denmark and the Greeks though so here is a poll. Big Grin

France to run them close

Why are you guys thinking Germany so much ?

I reckon Portugal are a decent outside bet.

Holland or Germany I reckon. I think most people are probably saying Germany beacuse they're a decent team to watch just now, and I'd like to see them win it to hear the greeting English commentators. The BBC bordered on racism the way they moaned about them at the last Euro's.

I'm going to be outrageous and say I fancy France to do well.

Germany for me. Positive team and a forward looking manager who isn't afraid to tell the old guard their time is up and give youth a chance. Agree with the above re BBC.
Plus Klose is still the best tournement goalscorer around and does it consistently.
England are over-rated but I think Hodgson is a good appointment and I hope he gives youth a chance.
France are a good outside bet but if you want a decent money spinner try Denmark to win Group B at 12/1.

I think we can all agree the British Brain-washing Corporation have the ability to ruin this tournament for a level headed liberal, pro independence, pro Europe socialist with a positive yet romantic view on the beautiful game.

The polish goal last night was the best so far !!

I think England might have a good run at it now. No team is outstanding !

I think the English will beat the Italians. The most impressive team have been Germany, and certainly could go and win the title. I think the Germans would rather England won, as they are caught out of position more often and they will exploit Terry far easier than they would the Italian defence.

I still think that Spain will probably pass everyone into submission.

I thought England would sneak it last night but they were shown to be the most ordinary side left still in the competition. Gerrard and Parker gave Pirlo so much time and space, however the clear cut chances Italy squandered left me believing England would sneak it.

As Earl has said its looking like a repeat of the 2008 final. Germany will be better equipped to beat Spain this time. I still think Spain will pass everyone into submission.
