Partick Vs County
#1
Not often I start a game thread but thought I would get the ball rolling since there is not one up yet.

Tough game I think. Partick starting to find some form.

Hoping to make this one providing all goes to plan. Would be great to catch up with fellow Staggies!

Very tough match, a draw might be look at as 2 points dropped by sum but we've no right to be demanding/expecting 3 points from a team who have won their last 5 games and are unbeaten this year.

Very busy run of games coming up now. End of February and into March will define our season. Let’s start with a win and put a wee winning run together.

Much tougher game than it would have been three months ago, will take a point from this as Partick were bound to found form at some point at it looks like they've started to push up from the bottom.

Two massive games coming up. Thistle were always going to put some results together but it is a game we can win. Tuesday against Ayr will be a game and a half and although I wont get up to Glasgow I will make the Ayr game. So some positive reports from Firhill will be good to read

I’m sure Fyrish Stag will provide another comprehensive report, I enjoy reading them.

Great username btw. Smile

Yup, totally agree with the above posts ... a much more difficult game given Caldwell’s recruits. Steven Anderson is a hard b at the centre of defence and is capable of scoring from set-pieces. They seem to have recruited well in midfield and up front. This will be more difficult than the Ayr United game. I’ll be keeping an eye on the Dundee United game as they are now our main rivals for the title. Looking forward to this one as it’s a short taxi ride and a few good boozers in the locale. COYS

Looking forward to this one. If you see a short/slightly overweight/bald man with a young lad with red hair say hello!!!

Injured, I presume.

Anyway, 1-0 Partick. Not a great day so far for sport.

Make that 3-2. Ross Stewart strikes again.

4-2. Billy McKay Penalty.

Fingers crossed Falkirk can score

Superb. Hopefully this is just what we need to give us confidence to push on for the rest of the season. Well done boys.
