They really need to get rid of that old @rosscountylive account that's still floating around and actually has the 'Verified' tick next to its name. It had like 4 tweets in 2014: https://twitter.com/rosscountylive

That's good news! Fed up of seeing newspapers or pundits or whoever tagging the wrong one in tweets!

Was it ever actually legitimate, or just someone at it?

I think it was an early Twitter account setup by the club - but was well before the time of having a media officer etc...

Apparently so, but it feels like the SLO is doing all of their work for them, and God love you Kenny for that.

These things should be happening without the sponsors/fans demanding it.

To be fair when I spoke to the club it was already in hand so they were already dealing with it, we need to remember that the club isn't blessed with a large number of staff - the staff that are in place double up on jobs / tasks and IMO do a good job with the resources they have.

The fact we have a much better social media presence and Ross County TV back is very important given the lack of coverage we will get in this league, and the folk involved in that at the club are doing a great job - you only have to look at the moans from other clubs about their social media and fan engagement......keep up the good work Ross County!
