Kilmarnock away
#1
So, the start of the Fergie caretaker era.

It's also on BBC alba, so I wouldn't be surprised if a few stay at home and watch it, instead of the long haul down to Ayrshire.

Really could do with some points here.

Killie is arguably the best away day in the league, so I'm looking forward to it regardless. Hopefully it goes better than the last time Fergie took over after we sacked a manager (for those who don't remember, a 4-0 defeat away to Hamilton with Jordi Balk and Uros Celcer as fullbacks).

Didn't he then sign Jackson Irvine and Midge the following week?

I'm planning the camanachd final in Inverness and then hopefully watch County on Alba without hearing the score.

That was horrible, everything went wrong for us.
Hamilton were flying with Neil as manager, 2nd in the league, and about to beat Celtic.
We gave away two penalties and Accies scored both, Celcer sent off after an hour for giving away the second of those, and Brittain missed a penalty for us.
Grim.

Killie away is usually fun tho, and they're roughly as crap as we are.
Hopefully we have a bit better luck with the penalties and red cards on Saturday.

Indeed - both signed on the Monday after the game.  To be clear, I'm not blaming him for the defeat - we were a rank rotten team.  Although playing Balk at right back was admittedly a pretty terrible idea.  I've got more pace than he did.

Not that terrible an idea when the alternative was Jim Fenlon.

So the announcement last night that John McGinlay is to be head of recruitment is pleasing, I think McIntyre struggled in this respect. Some of those signings above, jeez.

I fancy a win here. I don't usually say that for away games. Just with getting the new manager in the players will be up for it and keen to impress plus Killie are gash.

I'm hopeful.

Want to see positive decisions in the shape of the team, something we can stick with and build on the day. Coyle says he likes playing with wide men, so will see what he does.

Unfortunately, we're pretty short in this department! Gardyne and DKD, Jim O'Brien, Ryan Dow,I think that's about it?

I think DKD is a great wide man. O'Brien should stay in the centre. And I have no clue what Ryan Dows best position is.

Yes he did  two great signings. Arguably  he signed better player in 48 hours in charge than JM & BD. Did in their time there   But   We go forward. Now Stuart. Good start.  Absolutely thrilled for. New management team p
