I had to share this as I thought it was hilarious Big Grin

The tinks are wanting to take the tinks to court!

There's some funny pictures with richie foran's caravan encampment parked around the council stadium Tongue

How did that song go again, something like "the wheels on your house go round and round, round and round, round and round..."  Angel

Inverness Caledonian Thistle have launched legal moves to remove an encampment of travellers from ground near their stadium on the eve of the new season. Around 12 caravans and various vans and cars have pulled up on rough land beside the club’s home car park at the Caledonian Stadium on Stadium Road.

You have to hand it to Mr Foran, that's some servicing deal he's pulled off

After losing to the Glasgow bigots yesterday I thought this little fact, a Motherwell fan told me, may make fellow Staggies smile :-)

First day of the 2013-14 season, Motherwell beat Hibs 1-0, who went on to be relegated. First day of the 2014-15 season, Motherwell beat St Mirren 1-0,and we all know how that turned out.

Caley would be as well as conceding relegation now based on those stats imo.

Not looking good for ICT. Tiny squad (can't even fill the bench), players playing out of position and a real lack of quality.

Shuffling about the whole back four (Meekings RB, Raven LB) instead of just signing a new LB seems strange to me and now Warren is out with a broken leg, which leaves them even shorter in defence.

Not replacing Shinnie, Watkins and Ofere at all will prove costly. They've only got Lopez up front and the jury is very much out on him.

I don't think ICT have any chance of finishing third again. Very poor transfer business this summer.

Thoughts?

Desperate moves by a desperate club.

Only last week, Yogi was mouthing.
“we don't need to sign any new players”
“there are no plans to sign any more”
Aye right Yogi, what a Boo-Boo!
One defeat and a draw, and its crisis.

On the thread!
What right did they have moving the Traveller's?
The CALEY and the Travellers are all related.
They were not on CALEY’S land.
Do Caley own any of the land nearby?
Always thought the Highland Council owned the stadium and the land?
Is there not a camp on the other side of the stadium for these people?

Oh Dear.
Can't fill the bench.
Can't fill a mini bus for Perth.
Quote!
Were there not only about 15 people on the supporters (mini) bus at Saint Johnstone on Saturday? Desperate stuff if we're struggling to even have a single bus running.
Bus to Parkhead this Saturday possibly cancelled?

Oh! Dear, what can the matter be?
Where do they  all go on a Saturday?
Oh! dear what can the matter be?
Yogi Bear, I hope it's a calamity.

So do you think Swansea or Fulham will pay £1m+ for ryan crustie??

This is the last year of his contract so I'd laugh my ass off if he just walked away to division1 or the championship for nought next summer.

I think they'll bide their time and try and get him for nowt, it's not like he's getting on a bit or anything. And if he knows there's that kind of interest, he's not likely to extend at C***y is he?

Could they do a Motherwell?

Motherwell finished 2nd, then 11th the previous season.

ICT will be lucky to keep hold of Christie this window with Premier League clubs interested. It wouldn't surprise me if Rangers were too, if they're still looking for a young creative midfielder.

A few rumours about celtic putting in a bid for chrustie at the ayr game last night.

Not sure if it's just wishful thinking on the tinks part as a loan back was spoken about too, plus they'll get eff all for a development fee if he signs a pre-contract for a club down south in January, and they really seem to be desperate for cash just now!

With Doran apparently out til the end of the season, I can't imagine they can afford to lose Christie as well? Also, apparently Dundee utd are looking at bringing Billy McKay back to Scotland.....

Scottish Premiership sponsors Ladbrokes have suspended betting on the next Dundee United manager after a raft of bets saw odds slashed on Inverness manager John Hughes.

The Caley Thistle boss started the day as a 25/1 outsider, with Tommy Wright (Evens), Mixu Paatelainen (7/4) and Alan Irvine (12/1) heading the betting, but after a string of bets the price was slashed to 10/1, then 4/1 and then 10/11 before betting was suspended with the price at 4/6.

Testament to what a fantastic job John Hughes is doing there. Have to say I've never been a fan of his teams, but they certainly own us and they must be making a healthy profit.

That said, next manager betting is for mugs, and really is based on nothing but guesswork. If I put £100 on Jim McIntyre for Motherwell, they'd probably suspend betting on him too.

So United went for Big Mixu!

Congratulations to our neighbours for doing what they could to keep hold of their manager. I can only imagine that a new four year deal will be on the table for him to sign like St, J's did with Tommy Wright ;-)

Or was it Yogi was keen to go and so were ict to let him but United opted for Mixu...

I thought ICT were very ordinary last night, there's a lot of average players in there. Tremarco, Devine, Vincent, Polworth, even Vigurs all looked more like Championship players than SPL players. Any quality came from Christie, I didn't see much else about the rest at all. They haven't replaced Shinnie, who was their best player, and their squad is ridiculously small. ICT really haven't got much going forward at all and will probably lose their best two forward players in January.

Christie is apparently set to go back to Celtic in January and Storey's loan is only until January. If ICT lose Storey and Christie in January, I really think ICT will be in a relegation battle.
