Speculation thread

Heard that one person youd expect to be "in the know" was saying 2 signings, and another was saying 1 signing.
Only heard Kait so far.

Anyone got any confirmation on VDW?  With us or not?

Aye, seen it on Confirmed Departures thread :-(

Bit gutted he's gone, but pleased he's not suffering in our first choice back 4 any more.

I see that st. j's are releasing their goalkeeper Alan Mannus, could be a good signing (for a Premiership team)

Mannus is heading back to N Ireland. Been offered a player/keeper coaching position. Do agree that we need at least one new keeper, probably two.

Not sure I agree we need to new keepers. Mc Arey could and probably should be replaced. Fox was outstanding and on the edge of the Scotland team when he first came here. You don't get that bad in such a short time. Could it be how he is being coached? Something not right. Seems to lack confidence and makes poor decisions.

Rumours around town we are talking with Vigurs. Would be ideal for Championship next season imo.
D.Utd also interested apparently, and Plymouth were mentioned a few weeks ago, but with a young family and already living in Dingwall surely it would be a attractive move for him, and good mates with Ketts.

Funnily enough I was thinking about Vigurs last night during the game. We desperately need someone in midfield who can take a good free kick, get into forward positions, score goals, give a decent pass and be creative. All sadly lacking in our present midfield..

Yeah, I'm hearing lots of whispers about Vigurs. At second tier he'd still be useful, especially with a carthorse to do the physical stuff in the middle like Draper next to him.

Might offer more than Lindsay who was anonymous last night. Draper, McKay, Tansey and Vigurs all lining up v ICT would be interesting!

Don't think I was the only one on here last summer suggesting that we should have pursued him as a priority signing - not only because we needed a midfielder who could pass the ball but also as a mentor for Dylan Dykes' development..

He was desperate to sign for us, and asked for training facilities over the summer when he was without a club, McIntyre refused.
Didn't he end up at Inverurie or somewhere?
