As a newcomer to the Staggies, I thought he brought a bit of calmness and vision to the role. Sorry to see him go but if he didn't want to be living in the area, that's probably the best thing to do.

We lost a good player in stellious ,plus why did we let another decent prospect leave Dykes

Of the three, Stelios was easily the best left back at the club. Didn't have Kelly's passing ability or Kenny's physicality, but was a decent balance of the two.

Ketts not happy with Stelios (P&J).
They agreed to cancel his contract when he approached them last Thursday to say his partner couldn't settle in the Highlands and desperately wanted to move back to Cyprus.
Next stop, Cheshire..

Also said there have been enquiries for two of our players this window, but the players in question had no interest in moving and wanted to stay.

Gardyne to Dundee was one of those, and I'd imagine the other would be Paton.

I'd have thought Fraser to Dundee too.

Ross MacIver scored again Today for Elgin, pity it did not really count. Scored a brace last week too.

I was a little surprised when he was mentioned in the SPFL team of the week last week (major achievement) and even the official social media accounts failed to recognise this when congratulating Kenny's achievement.

Simple signed on a permanent basis. Hope he didn't have a bet on that happening!

I haven't seen enough of Semple to judge him. Obviously the managers rate him so we'll see what he can do.

Do they?

I’m assuming they’ve signed him with the expectation of Grivosti going back to the reserves, but I’d say Grivosti has surpassed him in the pecking order.

I would agree on that, Grivosti is now one of the main boys at centre half. I'd assume we aren't keeping Boyle- he's done nothing wrong but I think he's a Championship defender. No frills, no nonsense but not a lot more. Fontaine is 33, so maybe one more year as a top flight player?

Good mix of experience and youth. Two players for each position. Regarding youth, Grivosti showing well, Semple one of the rare breed of left sided CBs and Armstrong very promising. Get our experienced players fit I am sure the managers have their plans in place for the new season in the Prem. I am more interested in what tactics we adopt, probably sit in a bit more but you never know. Of the opposition players I've seen McMullan of Dumbdee would be a big asset. Be interesting to see if any of the QOTS players impress, the LB Marshall was getting decent reviews earlier in the season

Really wouldn’t surprise me if someone came in with a bid for grivosti in the summer , at 19 years of age he’s a very good prospect

Ross Munro has signed a 1 year contract extension, does anyone have an updated list of when players contracts are due to end? must be a few out of contract at end of this season or January.
