New signings, re-signings, and confirmed departures

Exactly what we need in our midfield, clever signing, and by all accounts was asking to come back when he saw who was in charge in our dugout!

Bit of dig, dead ball specialist and someone who can score plenty goals - encouraging signing indeed - the re-build has begun!

Depending on who stays and who's away, Vigurs will definitely strengthen our midfield options and by all accounts bossed the Championship last season!

As supporters we need to be patient and give Kett's and Fergie the time to build a strong unit capable of winning the Championship, whether we bounce back up in the first season is debatable as it'll be a tough battle with 5 or 6 teams (ICT, Dundee Utd, Morton, Dunfermline, Livi or Partick and ourselves) - but let's put it this way, it'll be exciting and we'll see more goals, and more wins than we would in the Premiership slugging it out with bottom six for survival....

Really enjoying how quickly the rebuild is going. Feels positive which is great after the depression of the last few weeks. I think we are in safe hands.

God, Billy in the Championship...have to wonder what kind of wages we're paying out. Certainly looks as if Roy is looking to buy the league and a return to the 'Ross County Way' was all just words. Shame, as this was our chance to rebuild and start afresh.

It might be possible he's taken a reduced contract rather than attempt to move anywhere else to be honest. Not like he can command the wages he once did.

I’d imagine most of the players would have had relegation wage cut clauses.

Would be stupid in this day and age to not.

Your just being contrary for the hell of it now. Who would you prefer up front?

Went from us to United and didn't really impress there according to my United mates. Not sure he's what we're looking for this season.

No I'm not...you're just looking for faults in what I say for the hell of it.

I wanted Billy Mckay to play when we were in the PL. Now we're in the Championship, I find it staggering we can afford him and it certainly looks as if Roy is chucking a load of cash at it. How is that incorrect?

McKay was offered a reduced terms contract, the same as everyone else (except Naismith) it's up to the player to accept or reject it. Not sure how that can be taken as Roy MacGregor chucking money at it, care to explain?

Can see where your coming from but I disagree

Simple question here, you should manage that.

Do you think Billy Mackay is on more wages than last season or less?

Because he was on a fair bit as it was. I do know that he has accepted reduced terms, as anyone else who stays will, but unless he has monumentally reduced what he was on (unlikely), he'll be on a staggering amount for a Scottish Championship player.

These are facts.

Less...there's no questioning that. But compared to what other strikers in the Championship will be getting.....jeez.

How do you find it staggering that we've kept a striker from last season on reduced wages?
