Embarrassing for Ross County given it was on BT Sports - not a good advert for our game and media will jump on Global Energy connection, or lack of connection!!

This issue where ever it was needs sorted and fast!!!

Shambles!

This is twice in two seasons now. It happened against St. Mirren except they managed to get them back on.

They were saying on radio Scotland that it's the third time and is shocking for an SPFL stadium - RM was saying the issue was outside the stadium, but houses next to ground were lit up, so think Roy was trying to save his blushes - just not good enough infrastructure at the ground!!

Awful for us regardless of what the problem is. Hope it gets fixed soon. Does anyone think their is any truth that Kovy was sniffing around the fuse box, maybe in a huff he did not get a game?

Apparently, Richie came bursting out of the players door, ignoring the people that wanted his autograph

Apparently our electrical system was due an upgrade during the close-season, but developments elsewhere took priority and we didn't have the time to do it. It appears the new media suite (which isn't even completely refurbished yet) has pushed us over the edge and tripped the circuit breakers.

This is the third time this has happened in the last two seasons (Hibs & St. Mirren being the other two), but this is the first time it's resulted in an abandonment for us. Two years ago, Motherwell had to abandon a game with Hibs when the circuit boards caught fire. It happens, last season's Superbowl was delayed for 45 minutes due to a floodlight failure, and that's the most viewed event each year in the world.

By all accounts, we will lose 70k from the TV, receive anywhere up to 10 or 20k in a fine, and all in all we'll be out of pocket in the region of 130k.

Could be an expensive lesson but with the pitch needing relaid and the East Stand extention there probably wasn't time far less money to do everything. Just bad luck that it had to happen in front of a UK wide TV audience.

If there is any truth in the system being overloaded by recent additions that is poor planning and guess we will pay for that. I now understand why the lights come on slowly to control the in rush. Did no body have any 6 inch nails about there, or is that what happened to Motherwell. Gutted for the club though with those sort of losses. A bad night.
