McKay scored again!

We were leading twice and down to ten players, disappointing to not get the win.

Currently sitting sixth, which isn't bad considering the squad had the guts of it promoted to the top team at the start of the season.

Indeed, although you would think we would be overtaken by Celtic at some point - and on that note, can anyone tell me why only 3 of their games have been played so far..??

I would assume due to European participation?

does anyone know if the game v Motherwell this Tuesday is at 14:00 or at 18:00?

i thought stadium announcer said 6pm today, but County website says 14:00.

A very wet day, pitch held up very well, no complaints from Motherwel regarding surface.
4-3 to County, well done lads.

Not sure if this is the correct thread to post this, Admin feel free to move if you with to.

Falkirk are planning to disband their (imo anyway) very successful youth academy, in order to fully focus finances on their first team.

I'd be very happy if our youth system produced as many quality players as the Falkirk one, can't be a good sign for Scottish football that they feel the need to close it.

You can blame the SFA elitism with project brave for that. They'll be just the first of a few clubs to do this IMO.

If you're not in the top group, which county aren't at the moment (subject to appeal/reassessment), then there doesn't appear to be much incentive to produce your own.

You'll lose all the best talent to elite group clubs and you will be given less funding/support to produce them in the 1st place.

Don't despair though as this is the SFA and in 5 years they'll abandon this idea for something really forward thinking. Probably what we have now!

Good point Jamie.
My thoughts.
Sack the lot of them, Donkeyaster, Reignhim in, and Muddy Mackay.
Could not run a children’s Xmas party.

Going to head along to Forthbank on Monday night for the Youth cup game against Stirling. For those of you who have been to a development game before, is there a charge to get in?
